Reviews
A great casual seafood restaurant with Tiki Bar vibe! Every time we go to Astoria, we have to visit for the seafood chowder, crab cocktails and razor clams. The proprietor is a hoot/kind of Surfer Boy and his wife delightful and always checks on patrons making sure our meals are good. Cocktails are fun with good tropical offerings. Mai Tai actually rivaled Trader Vic's! Well done. I've purchased seafood from their seafood counter and it's been good as well. A lovely place to sit outside when weather permits too.
Jessica was an amazing server. definitely come to Hurricane Ron's and ask for Jessica!
Astoria is the Rockland of the Pacific Northwest. Dope view, We just had a beer and an app but we dug, Our server was from Caribou, and that's more than fine.
We came here for the crab.. and it did not disappoint. We tried and shared lots of food options and most were great! Razor clams. Fried oysters and crab dinners all got 5 stars.. raw oysters were delicious as well. The calamari strips were too salty. The crab dinner was totally worth the money! The crab was delicious and it came with a side salad (amazing!) and clam chowder (unfortunately, the flavor was overpowered with too much bacon, herbs, and pepper, but still ok).. I did take away a star mainly for ambience, the place really needs a good cleaning. Even though some odor is understandable, since they work with a ton of seafood, the strong old fishy smell was off-putting to a number of people in our party. Better cleaning and ventilation could fix the problem.
Excellent food and atmoshere Ton and his wife are so kind great people
